Feature Request: Enable Percentage-Based “Minimum Profit Per Product” Setting

Dear AutoDS Development Team,

I hope you're doing well. I'm an active AutoDS user and truly appreciate the automation and scalability your platform offers. I'd like to suggest an important enhancement that would help sellers better protect their profit margins:

🛠️ Feature Request:
Please add an option to set Minimum Profit Per Product as a Percentage of the supplier cost, not just a fixed dollar amount.

📉 The Current Limitation:
At present, the minimum profit is set using a fixed value — for example, $3. This becomes problematic when dealing with higher-cost items. Here's why:

For a product that costs $100, a $3 minimum profit means only 3% margin.

With sales tax around 10% (varies by state), the actual cost becomes $110.

Result: I would lose $7 on this sale.

✅ The Suggested Solution:
Allow sellers to configure a percentage-based minimum profit, such as:

Minimum Profit = 20%

So if the supplier price is $100, the minimum selling price would be $120

This would automatically account for sales tax fluctuations and protect the seller’s bottom line.

💡 Why This Is Important:
Ensures sellers don't unintentionally operate at a loss due to taxes.

Scales more intelligently across product price ranges.

Reduces the need for manual price monitoring or risk calculations.

📈 How It Helps AutoDS:
This change would empower more sellers to confidently scale with AutoDS, especially in the U.S. where tax rates vary by state and can dramatically affect final costs. It leads to better seller retention and trust in your platform’s automation.

I appreciate your time and consideration. Please let me know if this is under review or if there’s a roadmap I can follow. I’d also be happy to beta test the feature if needed.

Best regards,
Jacob Tamazyan
