As a GDP user, it’s becoming clear that AutoDS is far behind when it comes to automation support. The platform advertises “full automation,” but in reality, GDP users get a stripped‑down version that feels more like manual management with a few shortcuts.
Here are the biggest limitations:
1. No True Order Automation
GDP users can’t rely on AutoDS to automatically place orders, update tracking, or handle revisions. Everything requires manual intervention, which defeats the purpose of using an automation tool in the first place.
2. Limited Supplier Compatibility
GDP accounts are locked out of many automation features because AutoDS prioritizes API‑connected suppliers. If your supplier isn’t one of the few supported, you’re stuck doing everything manually.
3. Price & Stock Monitoring Isn’t Reliable
GDP users often see delays or missed updates. When suppliers change prices or go out of stock, AutoDS doesn’t always catch it quickly, putting your listings and seller metrics at risk.
4. No Real Workflow Automation
Features like automatic messaging, automatic tracking number updates, and hands‑off order flows are either restricted or inconsistent for GDP users.
5. Feels Like a Two‑Tier System
AutoDS heavily favors API users, leaving GDP users with a watered‑down experience. If the platform is going to support GDP, it should offer meaningful automation—not just the basics.
Why This Matters
GDP users make up a huge portion of the dropshipping community. If AutoDS wants to remain competitive, it needs to close the gap and offer real automation tools that work regardless of supplier type.
