I have a comment to share with you. When the AutoDS tool offers the option to include the brand of the product to import using a dropdown menu, you can see that this system has many limitations. The most restrictive one is that if the brand of the product in question is not listed in the options provided in your dropdown menu, we are forced to leave the mention "Unbranded - Generic."

If we change this directly within eBay's item specifics (or through a third-party tool like 3DSellers, for example) to add the actual brand of the product, AutoDS then overrides the information when refreshing stock and pricing details. In doing so, it erases the brand and reverts it back to "Unbranded - Generic" in the listing.

This issue also applies to other product specifics that you offer to fill using dropdown menus (e.g., the product type). As a result, you should not propose filling in brand or other specifics using dropdown menus. Instead, you should allow users to enter this information manually using empty fields.

I hope this feedback will be helpful for you to consider, as it could significantly improve the AutoDS tool.
