I’d like to propose several enhancements for AutoDS to improve functionality and support for TikTok Shop and Temu, along with broader platform improvements:
TikTok Shop Enhancements:
Automation of tracking information for manually placed orders (noting TikTok’s "Tracking Generator" checkmark, unclear if it applies to manual orders).
Support for "Fulfilled by AutoDS" to streamline order processing.
Enable auto orders and tracking updates, currently unsupported.
Temu Supplier Reinstatement:
Temu is no longer supported as a supplier, though it remains in settings and the marketplace with no feed. I hope AutoDS can reinstate Temu support and apply the above TikTok features to it as well.
Custom Balance Top-Up and Auto-Updates:
Add a custom balance top-up option beyond preset amounts, plus an automatic balance update feature to ensure seamless order processing without manual intervention.
Revise General Limits:
Current limits based on variation can become costly over time, requiring frequent plan updates. This isn’t beginner-friendly, especially for those expecting to list extensively.
For example, eBay thrives on both winning products and high listing numbers, making it a numbers game. Each selling channel has unique dynamics, and AutoDS’s listing bottleneck favors advanced users who understand their markets, functioning more like premium software.
Suggest a more flexible limit system, possibly tiered by usage or channel-specific needs, to support beginners and scale with business growth.
Beginner-Friendly Guides:
Provide clear, in-depth guides explaining how limits work, tailored to each selling channel (e.g., eBay, Shopify). This would help newcomers understand costs and strategies, avoiding surprises and fostering long-term success.
For a deeper dive, let’s explore the implications. The current limit structure, tied to variations, can escalate costs unexpectedly for beginners who list multiple product options (e.g., sizes, colors) on eBay, where volume is key to visibility and sales.
A beginner might list 100 products with 5 variations each, hitting 500 listings quickly, far exceeding basic plan caps (often 200-300 listings), pushing them toward costly upgrades.
This contrasts with advanced users who optimize listings strategically, using AutoDS as a premium tool. A tiered limit system—e.g., base limits with add-ons for variations or channel-specific quotas (e.g., 500 eBay listings, 200 Shopify)—could align costs with usage, supporting scalability.
On Temu, its removal as a supplier despite lingering in the interface creates confusion, especially since its fast shipping and low prices were beginner-friendly.
Reinstatement with full automation (like TikTok’s requested features) could restore its value. Custom balance top-ups and auto-updates address cash flow issues, critical for high-volume sellers, while beginner guides could demystify AutoDS’s ecosystem, reducing churn and enhancing adoption across diverse selling channels.
