Combine Multiple Variants Into One Order

Currently, AutoDS creates two separate orders when customers places an order of multiple variants of the same product. For example, I sell matching rings so most customers buy 2 rings, a male and a female ring.
Because AutoDS creates two separate orders for these variants, I am having to pay shipping costs for each separate variant as opposed to only paying shipping once if they combined the order.
Also, customers will receive the orders separately, so one ring could come sooner than the other ring and customers email me saying where's there other ring. I would really like this to be a feature as it will save money and less emails from customers.
